Check out these events coming up in July in Pine Bluff, Arkansas! The ones ongoing through the summer (or year), whether daily, weekly, or monthly, are listed first; the ones with specifics one-time dates (or date ranges) follow.

Contact information for the organizations running these events and programs can be found at the end of this post.  Their staff and websites have more details on holiday exceptions, activity details, and their policies. Have a great July!

Yoga for Kids

  • FREE Activity
    Saturdays, 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC) (See contact information below.)
  • Ages 7 and up (and adult chaperones). Dress comfortably. ASC yoga classes use Yoga for Kids by University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service.

Safety Program

  • Program to teach safety to girls and to empower today’s yourh.
  • Tuesday through Friday (ongoing and through summer; check with Full circle 360 to verify enddate), 4:00 to 7:00 pm

  • Age range: Check with Full Circle for the age range.

Youth Employment Training

  • Employment training for youth
  • Tuesday through Friday (ongoing and through summer; check with Full circle 360 to verify enddate), 4:00 to 7:00 pm
  • Age range: Check with Full Circle for the exact age range. Generally for teens.

Second Saturday Family Fun Day:  Crafting A Character

  • July 14, 2018, Saturday, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
  • Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC)

ART I Camp

  • July 23rd – July 27th, 2018, Monday-Friday, half-day camp from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC)
  • Ages 6 to 11.  Combines lessons in drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Focuses on both artistic methods and the creative process itself. Advance registration is required. Limited space of 20 students.
  • Half-day camps are $100 for members and $120 for non-members.

NOTE on Full/Closed Filmmaking Camp

  • The ASC website indicates that their Filmmaking camp (July 16th – July 20th) is FULL. One could always inquire with ASC to see if there was a cancellation and thus new opening.

Dance Camp

  • FREE Camp.  Swing, Art, and All That Jazz — A Swing Dance Cultural Camp
  • July 30 – August 3, Monday-Friday, full-day camp from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC)
