Check out these events and programs coming up in August in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  They span a variety of activities in arts, science, nature, and well-being. Events and Programs in PB This Month

Live at Five:  Featuring Dave Sadler

  • August 3, 2018 (Friday), 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

  • Live at Five is a monthly performance series held by the Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas

Yoga for Kids

  • Saturdays, (August 4, 11, 18, 25, 2018), 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. — FREE — (Check with ASC for possible date/time exceptions)

  • Ages 7 and up (and adult chaperones). Dress comfortably. ASC yoga classes use Yoga for Kids, a 4-H Healthy Living Program by University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service.

Live Feedings / Ecosystem Education

Second Saturday Family Fun Day:  Bike Themed / Art and the Force of Physics

  • August 11, 2018 (Saturday), 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
  • Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC)
  • At this Family Fun Family Fun Day, visitors can use bikes as tools to create art, test their pedal power with a light-up tower, and enter to win an upcycled bike. Volunteers from the upcoming Tour de Bluff bike event will staff a bike repair workshop; mechanics can help you tune up your bike and add FREE accessories like a water bottle holder and bike lights.

Boater Education Course

  • August 25, 2018 (Saturday), 10:00 a.m.
  • Delta Rivers Nature Center
